Admission Requirements for  Emilio Aguinaldo College – School of Medicine, Philippines

NEET qualification is must to study Medicine in India or abroad.

Get ready with the following documents.

(1).     NEET marks above the qualifying criteria (as per MCI for the year) 

(2).     Attested copy of 12th Standard mark sheet

(3).     Attested copy of Transfer Certificate

(4).     Attested copy of Community Certificate

(5).     Attested copy of Conduct Certificate issued by School / College (if available)

(6).     A Conduct Certificate from a Responsible Person

(7).     Attested copy of Birth Certificate

(8).     Attested copy of Passport

(9).     Duly filled-in Physical Examination Form

(10).   Duly filled-in Student Visa (JW 202) Form

(11).   Attested copy of 10th Standard mark sheet 

(12).   Passport size Photographs – 10 Nos.

(13).  Attested copy of 11th Standard mark sheet 

A. Eligibility:

  1. Baccalaureate or Bachelor degree in Science or Arts (BS or AB Degree)
  2. NMAT score of 40 percentile or above

B. Application Requirements

For Incoming Freshmen:

  1. Official Transcript of Records (original or certified true copy) – Undergraduate, Graduate (if any)
  2. Diploma
  3. Certificate of Graduation
  4. NSO or Live Birth Certificate (original or certified true copy)
  5. NMAT result (official copy)
  6. Certificates of Good Moral Character, or Recommendation Letters  (2) from one of the following:
  • Dean
  • College Secretary
  • Department Head
  • Previous professors

7. 2pcs. 2” x 2” photo (to be uploaded for online application or attached to the application form)8. Duly accomplished application form (online or onsite)

For Transferees:

  1. Transfer Credential or Honorable Dismissal Certificate (original copy)
  2. Official Transcript of Records (original or certified true copy)
  3. Proof of NMAT
  4. Two (2) Good Moral certificates coming from the Dean or College Secretary & Faculty or from two (2) Faculty members
  5. Passing the validating exam for any subject in the past year level wherein the applicant’s grade is lower than 2.75
  6. On a case-to-case basis, an endorsement letter from CHED will be necessary.
  7. Duly accomplished application form (online or onsite)

Upon submission of the above-mentioned credentials, the applicant will be scheduled for:

  1. Interview with the Dean/Admissions Committee
  2. Psychometric exam given by the EAC Guidance Counselor Office
  3. Physical and mental fitness certificate issued by the EAC School Physician

C. ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

For Non-Filipino Students:

  1. Passport (original copy)
  2. Student visa
  3. Student permit
  4. Alien Certificate of Registration (ACR) as verified by the Registrar
  5. Passing the English placement test given by the Aguinaldo International Language Institute

For Scholarship Application:

  1. General Weighted Average (GWA) – 1.75 or better
  2. NMAT score – 75 percentile or higher
  3. Entrance examination given by the School of Medicine

Note: ** NMAT requirement of 40 percentile and aboveapplies to incoming freshmen only. ** Photocopies or scanned copies of the above-mentioned documents may be initially accepted to facilitate the admission of eligible applicants, provided that the original or official copies will be presented for verification. For transferees without TOR yet, a copy of grades may be submitted as initial basis for assessment of eligibility to transfer and entry level.

EXAMINATIONS:

Validating exams, entrance exams for scholarship application, psychometric tests and English placement test will be scheduled.

CURRICULUM:

The Emilio Aguinaldo School of Medicine implements the Outcomes-Based Curriculum (2015-2016) in observance with the 10 learning outcomes namely: Demonstrate Clinical Competence; Communicate effectively; Lead and manage health care team; Engage in research activities; Collaborate with inter-professional teams; Utilize system-based approach to healthcare; Engage in continuing personal and professional development; Adhere to ethical, professional and legal standard; Demonstrate nationalism, internationalism and dedication to service; Practice the principles of social accountability.  It is a 4-year curriculum leading to the degree of Doctor of Medicine, with an addition of 1-year internship in any APMC accredited hospital.
